Playoff Predictors Roadmap

This roadmap doesn’t represent any guarantees or promises. It serves as a rough outline to what we want to do in the future and highlights the current short-term priorities.

Summer 2018

• MLB
  • Move to closed Alpha
• NBA
  • New season predictor as soon as the schedule drops (Usually in August)

Fall 2018

• MLB
  • Move to closed Beta
• NBA
  • New regular season starts late October
• NFL
  • New regular season starts September 6th

Future, but not yet prioritized

These are the sports and features we intend to implement, but have not assigned priority or timelines to.

• Scoring
  • Will be rolled out to all pickers around the same time. Patron-only feature.
  • Predictors dependent on Scoring implementation to break ties:
    • NHL
    • English Premier League
    • MLS
    • World Cup
• NCAA
  • Initial power-5 only (initially)
  • Football
    • Picker-per-conference
    • Playoffs will allow users to decide what teams make it
  • Basketball
• Platform and Capabilities
  • Brackets
    • Should build as games are picked, as opposed to only after the final game has been picked
  • Better email templates
  • Better social media integration
  • Better automated testing and validation
  • The ability to declare your picks (save them with a timestamp) to prove you predicted certain outcomes.
